Eye Love

Although I love to try new make up products, I normally tend to stick to new blushers or mascaras and as a general rule; play it safe.

That was until I discovered Pixiewoo and now have become more bold with my purchases.  Recently I started to delve into the world of eye make up.  I have always been a liner and mascara kinda girl but now i’m a little more adventurous, I think its time to share with you products I have fell in love with.

First of all, NARS spring Collection Paramaribo eyeshadow duo has the most gorgeous pigmentation and really makes green or blue eyes POP.  The only fault I have with this though, is that I have to wear a base underneath to make it stay put.  For this, i’d definitely recommend Nars smudge proof eye shadow base

Onto the lashes, I stick to what I know and as I have the world’s shortest and stumpiest lashes. MACs Zoom Lash mascara is my saving grace! I always curl first using a Lancome curler as this is the best i’ve found!  However, lately I have been introduced to Lancome’s Virtuose and i’m a total convert! Perfect if your lashes are straighter than a line.

Now this is where i’ve come out of my comfort zone…..gel liner.  I had always used MACs penultimate eye liner which is a brilliant little pen, which is pretty much mess free but now I’ve thought outside the beauty box, i’ve moved onto Bobbi Brown’s Long Wear Gel Liner. FABULOUS! So easy to apply……

The icing on the cake comes from the lashes and for a night out I wont opt for anything other than ones by MAC.  However,  as i’m trying new things i’ve discovered Shu Uemura’s black velvet feather false lashes. Sexy eye central!  If you’re not comfortable in putting your own lashes on, I know my local Selfridges has a Shu Uemura counter where the staff will put them on for you! How good is that?!
