British fashion is self confident and fearless. It refuses to bow to commerce, thus generating a constant flow of new ideas whilst drawing in British heritage.

The spotlight is well and truly on British design houses for A/W12.  Following the positive aftermath of Mcqueen’s Paris show which juxtaposed bold and delicate, British design is back again at the forefront of the fashion world.

With her ageless designs and always one to stay true to her roots, Alice Temperley has created a collection that epitomizes the English Rose.  At home and over the Atlantic, her pieces are easily recognisable.  We should be proud of our designers, they’re a National Institution. 

Although their HQ is at the heart of New Yorks famous Meatpacking District, English designers Marcus Wainwright and David Neville have propelled to fashion fame with Rag & Bone.  With an emphasis on clean lines with a cool edge, Rag & Bone is a name to watch.
